This Donations/Membership Policy applies to anyone who makes a donation to Canadians for Access to Professional Education (the CAPE Scholarship). This policy explains the terms and conditions that apply when you donate to the CAPE Scholarship.
Donations, whether one-time or monthly, may be made through the CAPE website, or by mailing a cheque, cash, or credit card information to CAPE. Cheques should be made payable to "Canadians for Access to Professional Education, Inc."
There is no minimum monthly donation.
Donations, whether made online or by mail, are non-refundable.
Monthly donors may cancel future donations by sending an email to support@capescholarship.ca. Payments will stop the month after donations are cancelled. For example, if you withdraw in April, your credit card will be charged in April, but not May.
Each donor who is a natural person has the option to become a Member of the CAPE Scholarship for a one-year period. In order to become a member, and to be added to the membership list of the organization, donors must first send an email to members@capescholarship.ca requesting membership.
Members have all the rights and privileges outlined in the By-Laws, which will be provided to all Members when they join.
Each member has the same rights and privileges regardless of the amount of money they contribute.
One-time donors' memberships expire at the end of the one-year membership period.
Monthly donors' memberships will automatically be renewed at the end of the one-year membership period, unless they have resigned as members before the end of the one-year membership period.
A Member may withdraw at any time by sending a notice of resignation to members@capescholarship.ca.
If you feel that we are not abiding by the Privacy Policy or the Donations/Membership Policy, you should contact us immediately via telephone at 613-866-8629 or support@capescholarship.ca.
